Bangor Brown - American Style Brown Ale
Known as the “Jewel in the Queen City’s Crown,” the Thomas Hill Standpipe overlooks our fair city. Our Bangor Brown is the jewel in our line up of ales. Its contrasting chocolate-like malt profile and a hop character specifically denotes a true American Style Brown Ale and makes it a real crowd pleaser. Dark and malty with a full citrus hop flavor, this brew has a history as rich and colorful as the City of Bangor.
Smiling Irish Bastard - American Strong Pale Ale
Our brewer's favorite staple beer is copper in color with moderate maltiness and features grapefruit hop character. This pale is brewed with traditional Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest that linger on your palette. The name says it all: American strong, like Officer Bernie Welch, a legend in the Bangor Police Force. From Freeses’ Department Store through “Devil’s Half Acre,” with his billy club in hand, he wiped the smile off more than one hooligan’s face while keeping Bangor’s downtown safe.
The Refueler - American Style Wheat
This American Style Wheat Beer is designed to keep you flying longer with it's lower ABV. A light hoppy bitterness cuts through this unfiltered cloudy, straw-colored beer created with the use of American Hefewiezien yeast. We proudly salute our hometown Maine Air National Guard with this refreshing wheat beer.
Roundhouse Porter - Robust American Porter (Late Winter Seasonal)
Brewing just above the former site of Maine Central Railroad's roundhouse, it only seems fitting for our porter to take on the Roundhouse Porter name. Satisfying the thirst of hardworking laborers in the early 1700's, this robust ale became London's most popular ale. Brewed with black patent and chocolate malts, lightly hopped with U.S. Northern Brewer and U.S. Golding hops our robust porter is full bodied, black in color, with roasted coffee flavors and a sweet malty finish.
Hose 5 - American Amber Ale (Periodic Rotational)
The toasted caramel of English Crystal malt tames the citrus bite of American hops in this Amber Ale. Few balance bold with humble like the men and women of the Bangor Fire Department, from fighting the Great Fire of 1911, to their service in our community today. Hose 5 stands in tribute to these heroes of Bangor and firefighters from hometowns across the country whose daily contributions make all our lives better.
Bangor Tiger - American IPA (Periodic Rotational)
Maine River Drivers were the best in the world at the tun of the last century. They were known as the Bangor Tigers. They were the best of the best when times were tough and the men were tougher. Our Bangor Tiger IPA is a true American Style IPA with all the bold characteristics that come with it. This ale is not for the faint of heart with and ABV of 6.5% and a full 62 IBU. Our Tiger Ale pays tribute to the memory of the Bangor Tigers and all the men and women who continue to make their living in the Maine forestry industry.

Dad's Oatmeal Stout - Oatmeal Stout (St Patrick's Day Special)
John Geaghan was raised on the tough streets of Bangor, fought in World War II, and wanted nothing more than to come home and start a family. Geaghan Brothers Brewing Company grew from Dad's dream of a better life for his family. It seems fitting to introduce Dad's Oatmeal Stout on Geaghan's favorite holiday, St. Patrick's Day. Our oatmeal stout is full bodied and silky smooth with coffee-like aromas. Additions of Chimook and U.S. Goldings hops give balance and moderate bitterness to this rich, dark beer.
